Online Workshop for Visual Art Teachers: Artist Books

A reminder that the One Channel/Flying Arts a live interactive web training program for primary and middle school teachers wanting to know more about: Artist Books – is happening today.

This web workshop is for teachers looking to develop their knowledge and understanding of the visual arts and to learn some classroom tools, tips and techniques. Professional artist and Flying Arts tutor Damien Kamholtz will demonstrate a variety of materials, media and techniques that are used for making artist books or journals and provide some classroom project ideas. Information from this workshop can be applied directly in the classroom.

Key topics include:
1.            Ideas in Sketches
2.            Collaging Images
3.            Recording & Documenting – Artist Books

There will be a Q & A session following the workshop and participants will be able to download a resource sheet and a PD certificate.
