The Department of Education and QAGOMA are inviting applications from early career teachers to attend the 2018 Creative Generation: In residence program at QAGOMA from 4–6 December.
This professional learning opportunity will provide valuable teaching strategies to enhance your implementation and delivery of the Senior Visual Art curriculum, and skills that will assist your students to create artworks suitable for entry in the Creative Generation Excellence Awards in Visual Art. You will also have opportunities to build networks with other regional Visual Art teachers.
Applications are invited from early career Visual Art teachers working outside the metropolitan region.
To apply, write a brief response (100–200 words) about how you will benefit from involvement in the Creative Generation: In residence program. Release from school for the full program schedule is the responsibility of the applicant and must be approved by your Principal before applying. Submit applications to firstname.lastname@example.org
Travel subsidies will be provided. Successful applicants will be required for night-time supervision of participating students at the accommodation during the program.
