Queensland College of Art (QCA) and Open Conservatorium Griffith University are joining forces to present a three-day intensive program called Creative Futures.
Creative Futures is the combined programs of QCA Art & Design School Program presented in association with Gin Gin State High School, and Queensland Conservatorium's State Honours Ensemble Program (SHEP), presented in association with Bundaberg Christian College.

Following the success of the 2022 visual arts and design school programs, 2023 will see the QCA Art & Design School Program take place at Gin Gin State High School with nominations now open to schools in this region.
Nominated Year 7 - 12 visual arts and design students in the region will work alongside a team of world-renowned faculty from Griffith University’s Queensland College of Art, to develop skills and explore processes and perspectives in their chosen craft.
To celebrate the participant's hard work Queensland College of Art is pleased to be hosting an exhibition at Gin Gin State High School which will be open to families, friends and peers.

Dates: Friday 28 July - Sunday 30 July 2023

Cost: *$280 incl GST

Who can participate: Students who will be in school grades 7 - 12 in 2023 can be nominated by their teacher. For more information on the program, process and to nominate your students please see our nomination form. (This form is for teachers only)

Nominations due date: Closing date has been extended by one week to Wednesday 21 June but don't delay!

Teacher & School Support Staff Professional Development: Limited places are available in each workshop for High School Teachers (any discipline) and School Support Staff to attend for Professional Development purposes. There is no cost for staff to attend, we just ask that they engage for the full program duration.

*A limited number of fully funded places are available for students who would not be able to attend this program due to financial hardship. We ask that teachers indicate eligible students on the nomination form.
