Art Teachers Day is an opportunity for Queensland’s secondary school art teachers to connect with developments in contemporary art, to engage in workshops, to meet colleagues, and to preview education opportunities offered by key Brisbane museums and agencies. It’s also a fun way to meet annual professional-development requirements.

As part of QATAs commitment to connecting Art Teachers across Queensland, we are proud to announce a bursary of up to $500 (to put towards travel or accommodation) and entry for two teachers.
To be eligible, you will be:
- based in a school a minimum of two hours outside of Brisbane
- able to Tweet, Facebook or Blog about your experiences on the day.
- available to attend Art Teachers Day on the 9th of November
