Dear QATA members and subscribers, 

It’s the beginning of a new school year and soon time to renew memberships or join the Queensland Art Teacher’s Association.

QATA advocates for Visual Art education in Queensland by providing professional development and networking opportunities for teachers, advising education authorities on policy and curriculum development, and supporting critical engagement with contemporary art practices. 

As we continue with the transition to new curriculum, it is important that our memberships remain strong to ensure a strong voice for Queensland Art teachers. Maintaining a connection with your association gives you this voice.

Our membership cycle runs on a calendar year.

Current memberships expire February 28, 2020.

Membership levels and 2020 prices:

Individual full membership | $90.
Suits: Teachers and persons who are professionally involved in art education

Institutional membership for up to 5 staff members working in the same organisation | $220.
Suits: School visual arts staff, representatives, association or committee members.

Tertiary membership for pre-service teachers whilst completing study. Free! Proof of current student status may be requested.
Suits: Full time visual art education students
