Brisbane artist Leigh Schoenheimer’s idiosyncratic 2D and 3D work has
been shortlisted in a number of significant, national art awards, most
recently in the Sunshine Coast and John Villiers prizes.
An overviewing of Schoenheimer’s sculpture practice, participants will work with cardboard and timber to construct anbstract assemblage.
While recording and then re-interpreting an assembled 3D object, this resource considers the differences between responding to their subject matter directly through the eye, (a perceptual approach) as opposed to interpretively, through the mind (a conceptual approach.)
