QATACON 2022 Regional Teacher Bursary If you are QATACON 2022 Regional Teacher Bursary

If you are attending the Queensland Art Teachers Association, Annual State Conference (July 14 – 16), and you are travelling 150 kilometres or more to Brisbane, you are eligible for our Regional Teacher Bursary.

One regional teacher will be awarded flights (if applicable), three nights’ accommodation and a conference ticket (if the recipient has already paid for their ticket, it will be reimbursed).

Does this sound like you? Fill out the form at the link below and tell us in 100 words or less, how you, as a regional teacher, will benefit from attending QATACON 2022.

The theme of our conference this year is Starting Points. What do you think when you hear this? Challenges? Opportunities? We want to know more!

STARTING POINTS SHOWCASE
Have you got clever classroom strategies, stimulus or techniques you use as your visual art starting points? Join us at QATACON 22 and share your great ideas in the Starting Points Showcase!

The Starting Points Showcase is a platform where delegates will hear from a number of speakers in quick succession as they share starting point practices as stimulus, provocation or inspiration. All presenters get 10% off conference ticket cost (and the awe and respect of their peers).

To apply, please submit a 350-word abstract for consideration. All offers will be gratefully received and reviewed. Send your abstracts (or questions) to events@qata.qld.edu.au by Friday 25 February 2022.
