11 Nov Online Workshop for Visual Art Teachers: Digital Mash Ups
In association with One Channel, Flying Arts Alliance has pleasure in presenting a live interactive web training program for middle and high school art teachers wanting to know more about: ‘Digital Mash Ups’
This workshop is an interactive web cast aimed at teachers looking to develop their knowledge and understanding of the concept of mashing in the digital medium. It will cover ideas on how to: collect media images to use in a mash up; develop a theme or concept to structure students’ work; and how to use/mash images in various ways. This can be a digital collage or an abstract construction. A number of techniques will be demonstrated that combine media in creative ways for artworks. A great class for students to collaborate and work in groups.
