QATA Logo redesign

QATA Logo redesign

Dear QATA members,

We would like to thank members for the encouraging turnout at the first members meeting for 2016 at Cannon Hill Anglican College on the 3rd March.

Minutes for this meeting can be found here.
QATA MARCH 3RD MEETING

Our next important issue for discussion is the development of a new logo for QATA. Please see the Design Brief below.

QATA Logo Design Brief

QATA is seeking to update its corporate branding. Designs for a new logo are invited from members. Any member interested should send digital designs to [email protected] by 31 March. Designs may be sent as sketches or finished work.

The selected design will be sent to a professional graphic designer for appropriate formatting.

The design will become the property of QATA and may be altered to suit the association’s needs.
The designer of the selected logo will receive a free 2017 membership to QATA and a free 2016 conference registration.

A new logo needs to:
· be immediately legible

· contain the name of the association in full

· be contemporary, original and avoid clichés (such as paint brushes and palettes)

· Include colour

· be printable and copyable in black and white, all print formats and digital media

· represent the core business of the association (advocacy for Visual Art and Design Education professionals)

You can see the history of the QATA logo below.

The new logo design will be an agenda item at our next member’s meeting, to be held at Brisbane Grammar School on Thursday 28th April.

Please let us know if you have any queries or suggestions at [email protected]

kind regards,

QATA executive
