QATA Monthly Meeting @ QUT Art Museum

This month’s meeting (18th July – 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM) will be hosted by Pia Robinson and Olivia Porgand at QUT Art Museum.

QUT Art Museum is situated at Gardens Point, in U Block which is accessible from the Main Drive.

Getting there.

There is paid parking under the expressway (for pricing information follow this link) which can be accessed from Alice Street.

The Translink website contains information on all bus services and other public transport options to QUT campuses.

All CityCat ferry terminals (except for West End) became operational as of 18 April. Check the Translink website for timetables. The West End terminal is expected to be operational by the end of June 2011.

The Route 66  bus service operates exclusively on the South East busway and Inner Northern busway between Woolloongabba and the Royal Brisbane and Womens’ Hospital. This service does not stop at the ‘Myer Centre’ Station. During the University Semester, Route 66 buses operate every 5 minutes at peak times and every 15 minutes at off peak times on week-days, between 6:30am until 8:00pm. Rail and bus connections may be made at the following locations:

·         South Bank
·         Cultural Centre
·         City (King George Square)
·         Roma Street
·         Royal Brisbane and Womens’ Hospital
