Artist
Dr Sam Leach’s paintings and installations draw on the history of visual representations of science and are informed by art history and philosophy. Leach’s recent work has involved the use of machine learning in the analysis of visual data with a focus on the impact of AI on non-human animals.
Artist and modern material inventor
Artist Jessie French blends sustainability with speculative futures, exploring the potential of a post-petrochemical world through the medium of algae-based bioplastic and water-based ecologies. Through a blend of research and creativity, French delves into closed-loop systems of reuse, crafting distinctive pieces that provoke thoughtful consideration of consumption and its wider effects.
