18 Jun The future of teacher and artist collaboration
Via Stephen Clark of Flying Arts
Later this year, with the support of the Tim Fairfax Family Foundation and the John Villiers Trust, a new regional and remote area education project will be rolled out that will explore and document the values and benefits of teacher and artist collaboration in delivering quality experiences in the classroom that address arts and non-arts curriculum.
This exciting project has been in the blender for more than 12 months and now with the support of the two foundations we are preparing for implementation.
To assist the implementation of the plan, Flying Arts would be very grateful if you could complete a brief survey about your thoughts on and experiences with teacher/artist collaboration in the classroom.

In preparation, a stimulating webinar with John O’Toole and Arnold Aprill will be run, as well as a preliminary pilot study in Brisbane before rolling the project out to regional and remote Queensland areas. If you are interested in participating in either of these activities you will be able to indicate so in the survey.
