CIRCUIT BREAKER (Workshop for Educators)
QUT Art Museum | Monday 16 October (pupil free day) | 10am – 2pm | $25
Artists are some of the most experimental and innovative creators of technology — repurposing, tinkering and expanding our perceptions of this ever-changing field. Presented by QUT Art Museum together with The Cube, this one-day masterclass shows Educators how to use littleBits — electronic modules that snap together to create circuits — and how to implement cross-curricula learning and teaching in the classroom. The masterclass will provide hands-on experimentation with littleBits and everyday materials to develop interactive artworks that make noise, light up and respond to movement.
Coinciding with a major exhibition of leading international artists working with technology, this program includes a tour of the exhibitions: Why future still needs us: AI and humanity and Machination.
