05 Dec Work Inspirations @ The Queensland Museum
The Queensland Museum is participating in the Work Inspirations Program in January 2013. The Work Inspirations program is a pilot program project being developed by QMX (the internal creative agency at QM) in collaboration with The Smith Family partnership brokers.
The aim of the project is to introduce students in Years, 10, 11 and 12 to the world of life and work beyond high-school. It explores three key insights focusing on one-on-one conversations exploring what each student is good at, in and out of the classroom and how careers really happen. It a much more intensive approach to traditional work experience.
The program will involve 5-10 students participating in a 3-day intensive program. They will visit various departments of the Queensland Museum South Bank campus, work with the QMX agency to develop ideas for future exhibitions, programs and engagements from a young person’s perspective and then present their ideas to a group of peers and invited members of staff from QM on the final day.
All forms should be completed and emailed to [email protected] by close of business 12th December 2012 (soon!). See attached documents for further information.
