to ask for feedback from Visual Art Educators by completing the survey below. Please consider this invitation.
Dear Colleagues in Visual Art Education
We are undertaking an exciting research project to examine how the range of political, social and economic aspects affecting the broader field of Education impact on the provision of quality visual art education in Australia. We are seeking participants who work in the visual art education field or have an interest in the provision of visual art education in Australia. Our hope is to have input from all education sectors and those who work in various roles such as – administrators, teachers, academics, gallery or museum educators and artist practitioners. We will be gathering participant input via an online survey.
We want you to be involved in this project, titled: A rummage through the Visual Art Education landscape in Australia, in the following ways:
Making a personal response to the online survey (via the link below)
Disseminating or forwarding this email (or the URL below) through your networks, members, or individuals you think may be interested in being involved.
We envisage that online survey will take 25 minutes to complete.
Victoria University Ethics Committee has approved the research, Approval no HRE16-227
This project will be significant as it provides an opportunity for a range of educators with an interest in visual art to have their voices heard. The data and findings to emerge could inform practice and policy development (across several fields and levels of government). Responses will contribute to understandings and generate dialogue around quality visual art education.
