We are excited to announce that the Art Teacher Art exhibition is back! The last exhibition was in 2011, and we are looking forward to reviving it annually after a 14-year hiatus.
Art Teacher Art is a celebration of the creative minds and personal practices of our wonderful QATA members. It is a safe space that accommodates all levels of ability. From works on canvas or paper, digital projections, hanging installations, sculpture to weaving and painted miniatures, this exhibition is a celebration designed to foster networking and partnerships. You may even find your creative kindred spirit and collaborate on a piece for ATA26!
In conjunction with QATACON25, Art Teacher Art 2025 (ATA25) will be held from 8th – 19th July at Woolloongabba Art Gallery (WAG) 613 Stanley St, Woolloongabba Qld 4102.

Opening hours: Tuesday – Friday 10am – 5pm | Saturdays 10am – 3pm
Closing event is on Friday 18th July at 4:30pm – 6:30pm at WAG. Drinks and platters provided. Then cash bar and food at the venue next door called Can You Keep A Secret.
Conditions of entry:
- Entries close Sunday 1st June 2025 to allow for delivery of artworks and exhibition installation.
- Artworks will need to be delivered or couriered to the gallery at the artist’s expense. WAG staff will curate and install the exhibition on QATA’s behalf. Delivery dates to be advised.
- Artworks are to be collected at the end of QATACON25 on Saturday 19th July directly from the conference. QATACON25 volunteers will collect artworks from the gallery and provide a basic layer of bubblewrap for transport.
- Artworks do not need to be current, this is an open invitation to display your favourite artworks made by you. Entries are limited to two artworks per person. Please submit a seperate form for each artwork.
- Artworks can be available for sale – this is optional. Please indicate in the form below
- Artworks must be ready and equipped for hanging. Artworks without the required hanging/display apparatus may not be displayed.
- All artworks will be displayed with a credit line and artist statement.
