18 Oct QATA Monthly Meeting Minutes October 17 @ Coorparoo Secondary College
Good morning all
Thank you to those who attended our meeting yesterday afternoon. It was wonderful to see the range of teacher art work going up in the gallery at Coorparoo Secondary College! There are still spaces on those walls however, so if you were thinking about submitting something, and missed the original deadline, Sue Thomas announced yesterday that she would be happy to take more work. Please get in contact with Sue on [email protected] or 33948888 to let her know that you would like to exhibit. The opening night for the Art Teacher’s Art Exhibition is next Friday, October 26, starting at 7pm. Whether you have work displayed or not, we would love to see you and your friends and family there!
It is also that time of year again, when we call for nominations for Executive positions for 2013. If you are interested in any of the positions below, please email through your nominations to me on [email protected] or to our QATA email on [email protected] prior to the AGM on November 14. We will also take nominations on the day of the meeting.
QATA Executive positions for 2013: President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary/Memberships Coordinator
We will also be calling for an expression of interest for the following 2013 QATA roles to be filled at the AGM: QATA Journal Coordinator and QATA PD Day Coordinator.
We try to ensure that our QATA meetings are fun and informal! So if you have been considering getting involved, be brave and put your hand up. We’d love to have extra help in 2013.
Our last meeting for 2012 will be held on Wednesday, November 14, venue TBA. We will be having end of year drinks and nibbles with the option of dinner to follow, so stay tuned for more information!
